Michael T. Burke
Michael T. Burke is the President and Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Applied
Business Solutions Consulting, Inc. Prior positions held by Mr. Burke include Lead Consultant,
Madigan Consulting, Ltd., Plating Engineer at Sharretts Plating, Inc. and Nuclear Power Plant
Controller and Electrician with the United States Navy.
Mr. Burke's technology background includes the design, installation, integration, and
administration of heterogeneous computer networks on Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN and WAN);
the selection and implementation of enterprise-wide manufacturing planning and control information
systems, electronic communications systems, and databases; and the selection and integration of
enterprise-wide telecommunications systems. He also works closely with database and web application
creation, design, and implementation.
Mr. Burke's background includes experience in military specifications and procedures, quality
program implementation, and manufacturing process and quality control. Specifically he is well
versed in Mill-specs and U.S. Navy Sub-safe quality inspections, ISO 9000 and TQM implementation
and maintenance, and SPC and manufacturing quality controls. His technical experience includes
Nuclear Reactor systems design and control, advanced electronics, power distribution and motor
systems control, and electroplating process design and implementation.
Mr. Burke studied physics at Penn State University and holds a degree in Business and Economics
from Wilson College, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He is a proud member of the St Theresa chapter
of the Knights of Columbus. He has been Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 192 for nearly
ten years where he shares the skills he learned as an Eagle Scout in the same troop.
Linda F. Cope
Linda F. Cope is co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Applied Business Solutions
Consulting, Inc. Founded in 1999, Applied Business Solutions Consulting, Inc. offers
services in Information Technology, Internet connectivity, and Accounting.
Prior positions held by Ms. Cope include Senior Consultant at Madigan Consulting, Ltd.,
Program Administrator at Lehigh University, Grants Administrator at the University of
Pennsylvania, and Cost Accountant at Krautkramer Branson, Inc. Ms. Cope is a Microsoft
Certified Professional, certified in Windows NT Server Administration, Windows NT Server
in the Enterprise, Windows NT Workstation, and Networking Essentials.
Ms. Cope's background includes experience in the nondestructive testing equipment
industry, nonferrous metals industry, manufacturing, educational institutions,
professional organizations, and healthcare systems. More specifically, she is well versed
in contract and grant administration; government and industry contract negotiation;
compliance regulations interpretation and management; inventory management; and systems
improvements.
Her technology background includes the design, installation, and administration of
heterogeneous networks, including Microsoft Windows NT Server and Novell NetWare; in local
and wide area environments; design and development of Internet information resources; and
selection and implementation of enterprise-wide manufacturing, planning, and control
software. On a smaller scale, she has implemented and supported a wide range of hardware
and software. She has also successfully written policy manuals and published a monthly
newsletter.
Ms. Cope received her Bachelor of Science in Business and Computer Science from Juniata
College and her Masters in Business Administration from Lehigh University. She is a member
of Beta Gamma Sigma and the National Association for Female Executives.
Jeremy Spaulding
Consultant Jeremy Spaulding joined the team in September of 2003.
A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, he is certified
in Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Directory Services Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure
Administration, and SQL Server Administration.
He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional certified in Network Security, and holds
a CompTIA certification in Networking Plus.
Mr. Spaulding’s extensive background in the construction
industry matched with a Cat 5e Cabling certificate makes him well qualified
for the design and physical installation of cabling, both copper and fiber-optic, with proper
terminations to assure flawless connectivity. He has skill in installation and configuration
of wireless networking devices, to work in conjunction with hard-wired systems.
He demonstrates creativity in all facets of web-site design and implementation, including basic
design and final implementation, to ensure client satisfaction with the results. To achieve this goal,
he makes extensive use of multiple cross-platform standards and technologies, including html,
css, javascript, Flash, ASP.NET, as well as server-side scripting technologies written in VB, C#, and SQL.
Development of browser based applications, including data collection and security, is also a
tool used to meet clients' needs.
Mr. Spaulding also has a strong history of assisting end-users with applications, operating systems,
and hardware. He is capable of assisting and training with applications and documents, as well as
cleaning and resolving problems caused by malware, faulty hardware or software.
Mr. Spaulding studied Physics and Computer Programming
at Penn State University and is an Eagle Scout.
